Here is a brief description of the Bald Eagle nest site under discussion. It is found along a park road in Chatfield State Park, near Littleton, Colorado. It is in relatively close proximity to Chatfield Reservoir. The nest is located high up in the crotch of a tree so the line of sight is angled quite far up, but the nest itself is unobstructed by branches. Binoculars of medium power are very effective for viewing. As of April 17, 2020, the nest is inhabited by two mature bald eagles. If eggs are present, they should be hatching before the end of the month.Check it out here.
