JANUARY 9, 2018 - LAYING UP THE TOPSIDES

Well, after a busy holiday season that took some of us to far away locations, we are back in business. As of January 9, the entire inside surface of the Flyer is fully protected and glistening in white! (See the slideshow) Most of the topside plywood panels are secure. We have the aft starboard quarter to complete and then we can move on to the mahogany. The rudder assembly has been installed and once we are satisfied, the final piece of plywood will be attached. See the video below for a commentary on the rudder assembly and a pan of the port side as it stands.
